0.625 quarts4 HP Briggs from 2002. I got this pressure washer for $7 at auction and threw a $35 pump on it, runs like a champ.
Last season, I ran 5w30 and it burned a pretty good amount of oil. This season, I’m running a 15w40, yet to burn a drop.
Out: a mix of Pennzoil and Valvoline 5w30
In: ST 15w40 Full Synthetic
Edit: I should add, capacity unknown. I just drain then add until the dipstick reads full.

You really need an old 4 or 5 qt oil jug, or it will splash everywhere.,,I either pump into an old TruFuel can or use a plastic paint roller pan with the tip method.
You’re a good guy for that, props to you.My elderly neighbor passed away Monday, grabbed his old push mower and fixed it up for his granddaughter
Bolens with a 125cc ohv Briggs
New NGK BKR5E plug
15 oz Motorcraft 15W40
New Briggs foam air filter oiled with excess wrung out
Fresh gas and Ultimax fuel treatment
Ready to go
I had been trying to find her one for a few weeks. When he passed away, I told her you know your grandpa would want you to have it.You’re a good guy for that, props to you.
Long term storage on a torquewrench should be set to lowest setting but not zero most manufacturers reccomend this.Brother in law has a neighbor kid cut his grass. Kid put gasoline in the oil. Fortunately the engine would not start.
That kid wants to learn to work on stuff. I had him remove the sparkplug.
We flipped it upside down to dump out the oil gas mix.
I had him add some very old 20W - 50 I had two quarts of, and had him check the oil level so he learned how to do that. Had him pull the rope a few times, then we flipped it and drained it.
Repeated 2 more times, for a total of 3 fill and drains to get the gasoline out.
Then he put in new Mobil-1 15W - 50 and filled so it just covered the top hole on the dipstick.
Had him dry the insulator inside the sparkplug with a heat gun.
Showed him how to set and use a torque wrench, told him the importance of putting the sparkplug in by hand as far as he could so there was no danger of crossthread, then he tightened it with the torquewrench, and then set the torque-wrench back to no tension on the spring for storage.
It runs.
What? No RC12YC plugs?Grandmas Toro Titan ZX5400 zero turn mower this evening. 2015 model. Unknown hours but I’m sure it’s a ton as she uses it weekly for multiple properties.
Out: 2 quarts Castrol GTX 10W-30
Off: Kohler oil filter
In: 2 quarts Castrol GTX 10W-30
On: Fram 3614
Decided to go with Fram this time since the Kohler filter was about $18. The Fram $8 filter will work fine for me and grandma. Nothing wrong with Kohler but she likes to save money and I do as well. Also done new fuel filter, 2 new Autolite spark plugs and a new belt. All together parts were $45 because she already had the belt. Spark plugs were hard to find had to go to the parts store and get them as Walmart had none nor did Lowe’s or Home Depot and didn’t make it to Rural King or Tractor Supply. I wanted NGK or Champion but parts store was out of those particular ones so I took the Autolite but they seem to work fine I’ve never had a problem with Autolite in my Fords so I felt comfortable putting them in this mower. I realized when I got there I’d left my copper anti seize at the house but remembered the silver so I just used the silver on the plugs. Mower runs much better now. The fuel filter was pitch black.
She gave me $100 for the labor I told her she didn’t have too but she always insists on me taking it and she hugged me about 4 times too. I’m just glad to help her out and glad she appreciates it. I’m her only grandkid who will do things for her at least in a mechanical aspect despite other ones being able too. She doesn’t have to pay rent in exchange she mows all the landlords properties because he is 92. She turns 79 in July.
None that I could find locally. Guess it’s a common plug that sells out easily. I used them last time and I got one at Lowe’s and one at AutoZone because I was unaware they had two spark plugs at the time. What? No RC12YC plugs?
