Just winterized the snow thrower, Tecumseh something or another:

I thought why not. I'll keep an eye on the consumption but it really doesn't use any now.

The new Kohler 26 hp got Delo 15w40 after draining out some very fuel diluted factory fill that had about 5 hrs on it . I believe the fuel dilution was from being started and driven outside daily at our local sears store , never reaching operating temp . Honda gcv160 got rotella 5w40 left over from servicing the ATV's .. Mixed a fresh gallon of stihl ultra at 32:1 for the 2 stroke equipment . We are ready to go if it ever rains enough to kick the lawn into growing mode ..

Got it for free - coworker was throwing it away because it didn't run. Gov spring was not connected to bracket.

Out - 11 year old original fill - that had seafoam in it.

In - Amsoil 10W30 Small engine oil - 20oz

Went home over the long weekend and helped summerize my dad's snow blower, a 179cc Craftsman, put in fresh 5w30 Castrol GTX (I don't think my dad has ever changed the oil in 3-4 years). Swapped out the original Torch spark plug as well.

Also changed the Craftsman Briggs motor oil, same 5W30.
