Post your latest small engine oil change

It was nice today so I pulled out the lawnmower and changed the oil with Rotella T6 5W-40, changed the air filter. The plug is a year old NGK so I'm gonna leave that in there for another season or two. I'll sharpen the blade in a month or two also. But it started first pull, as always. My Kawasaki FH451V powered Great Dane mower got some Castrol GTX 5W30 that was leftover from an oil change on a Civic. Filter is some generic filter the dealer had. Unknown hours and unknown history aside from lots of neglect (not from me).

I also got some TruFuel premixed fuel for the 2 strokes, so I guess that counts as an oil change. This is the first time I've used it, so far all of my 2 stroke junkers like it.

I put away the new Ariens snow blower today. With the crazy warm weather we've had, I think it only had about 2 hours on it. But I drained the factory oil anyway. And what do you know? It was full of glitter. I'm glad that junk's out of there. I refilled it with 20 ounces of leftover Pennzoil High-mileage 10W-30 (it sits in heated space).

Well I haven't posted the break in or oil changes in my re-engine 60's Ariens rototiller. It's a Greyhound (blue harbor freight) 6.5 horsepower engine. Last fall I ran it one hour at variable speeds with Half a quart of Valvoline 5w30 and two table spoons of moly engine assembly lubricant. I dumped that glitter filled oil then ran it for a whole tank of fuel at full throttle with the left of Valvoline. That was about 3.5 hours. Filled it with Mobil 1 TSUV 5w30. Then tilled up the garden twice and put her away. I tilled the garden up twice last week. So finally the First oil change with 10 hours on the motor.

Out: M1 TSUV 5w30

Just put the Craftsman 12hp/30" away for the summer...12hp Tecumseh engine, always runs strong and only use Petro-Canada 0W30 Arctic Climate Full Synthetic. I do run it once in late July/early August to get things moving again...and she's good for another year.
