Toro 50” ZTR w/ 21 HP Briggs V-Twin.

Out/Off: WIX 51066 and ST 15w40 HDEO.
In/On: CQ R85348MP and 50/50 mix of Rotella T6 15w40 and ST 15w40 HDEO.

I also replaced the carb. I had rebuilt it at the beginning of the season and it just keeps acting up. It was only $3 more to replace it and it’s running like a dream.

In: Pennzoil 10w30 SM conventional
Doesn’t get much use except for emergencies.

Champion 2500 watt inverter generator
Out: Quaker State 10w30 SL 4x4 edition
In: Pennzoil 10w30 SM conventional
I use this around the ranch for angle grinding, it surprisingly ran good with a Titanium 125 welder, it cut out a few times but still worked.

The pennzoil is from 2004 stored in an unheated or cooled workshop, very little additive fallout.

Put in an NGK BPR6ES plug and tossed the Torch plug

Put in some Rotella 15W40

Took spark arrestor out muffler

Will change the Rotella after he gets back Sunday, unit should have 15 or so hours on it by then

Dude those NGKs make a massive difference in operation on a genset vs the torch plugs. Mine starts and runs so much smoother (no more misfires) once I swapped them out. Well done sir.

So much difference! No misfiring or backfiring. Torch plugs are JUNK!

How much did that jug of the Vanguard oil run you? Wonder how it compares to a full syn automotive oil in an analysis? I’m gonna search around for anybody who has done one one it. The “contains zinc” part on the label has me curious.

How much did that jug of the Vanguard oil run you? Wonder how it compares to a full syn automotive oil in an analysis? I’m gonna search around for anybody who has done one one it. The “contains zinc” part on the label has me curious.

$52 on Amazon. After I use the rest of it next year, Ill probably switch to Mobil 1 15W50. Still cheap compared to the price of a new engine

Friends Gator Tail mud motor, 35 hp Briggs Vanguard

Put in some Vanguard 15W50 and a Briggs 842921 filter

Hit all the grease zerts and prop shaft with Schaeffers 219 green grease

OK, thanks. When I got to Lowe's I picked up the Champion equivalent due to crunch time early Sunday morning out of time. Unit fires right up, I'm happy with the one pull start each time cold or hot.

It got 1.75 quarts Valvoline SJ rated 10W40 motorcycle oil, new oil pump screen filter torqued to 55 in lbs

Waiting on the NGK BPR4ES plugs to come in

End-of-year push mower and start-of-year snowblower (season) both got Amazon 0W-40. Wish I would have bought 5 more jugs of that oil, such a deal, less than $10 for 5-quart jugs from some kind of flash sale they had.
