Yeah, if those wheel bearings start grumbling, I'll take a hammer to them, too.
Arrived today my my most favored eBay seller. Have bought hundreds of parts from him at good prices. Two Mazda 626 inner tie rods at $28 ea. Spare starter solenoid for my 72 AMC at $20. Strut bushings for the 73 Polara at $20 and Motorcraft water temperature sensor for 98 Sable wagon at $14. All US made except tie rods being Japan made.

2 - gaskets for transaxle drain and fill plugs
1 - oil drain plug for next oil change
1 - engine oil sump protection skid plate b/c a big dip jumped out at me late one night w/o warning and destroyed the one I had installed. But, at least I don’t think I have to replace the oil sump cover. A messy job
3 - 10mm head bolts that hold on the oil sump protection plate and some coolant line brackets.

Several years ago I'd never pay $15 for 5qts, but deals are drying up and my stash is getting low. It's still better than SuperTech at ~17 per jug
99% of what I do is "normal person" vehicles at 5k OCIs, so any fresh oil and filter is fine

GM Genuine rear shocks for my Z55 equipped 2005 GMC Yukon Denali (Autoride) as well as a Dorman air compressor for those shocks...

I know, it’s sad. Look at the crimping. Prefer mandrel bent like the aftermarket on the other car.
But OE is off the table. OE $1692 list and this here $40 + $55.
I thought the pinhole on the upper inlet side was a mfg defect, but a 2nd one exactly the same.

edit btw the pinhole is in fact a weep hole--I know the resonators each have them from the factory, have never noticed the OE muffler having one. I wonder, wouldn't it be better to have the weep hole on the bottom, not the top? If top like it is, condensation will drip down along the inlet face. What do I know I'm just wondering

I wonder…this is a Walker SS direct fit. Comments say when one bolts things up it’s 8” shorter and not truly direct fit. Does this part actually get x-ref to multiple vehicles? The inlet is offset so on our car, it would be offset to driver side, but maybe another car to the pass side, in which case the weep hole
Would be on the bottom.
Drilling would not in any way compromise the muffler? Seems not, as I see online, that people have drilled holes. Admittedly, other than peering through the inlet and exhaust, I don’t know what a muffler looks like cut open.
Edit this video makes it seem like one gets a lot for under $60

Parts I purchased for grandmas mower. It’s a 2015 Toro Titan ZX5400. The parts all went on fine and it runs like a champ. The fuel filter hadn’t been changed since she got it in 2019 kind of my fault for neglecting but glad it’s changed now. The store was all out of NGK and Champion plugs so I got Autolite which I’ve used Autolite in my Fords before and they do fine so I’m not worried. I had left the copper anti seize at the house but used silver which I remembered to bring. It should be fine with the silver.

New brake pads and rotors from Napa yesterday for dad’s car. Fit perfect and doing great. I wanted to upgrade to the SilentGuard pads but dad was on a budget so he wanted the lowest price but decent pads. I had to talk him into getting rotors as he isn’t a believer in replacing rotors he just believes in pad slaps. But he damaged the rotors from letting the pads get metal to metal so I talked him into rotors. We placed the order online as a pad and rotor kit for pickup and was able to get the sale of buy two rotors and get pads free plus an extra 15% off with a promo code so it made it cheaper than all the other parts stores even with rewards or discounts. Napa isn’t known for cheap prices so it was a good deal. So far they are doing great. If they were front pads I probably definitely would have gotten SilentGuard but since they are rear pads these are fine. Came with new shims and hardware included like all good pads do. And then Napa has a deal right now spend $40 and get a free hat so the manager face both of us one.
