Post your latest oil change

2003 Toyota Corolla:

Out - Valvoline Restore and Protect 5w30/ Supertech Filter.
In- Valvoline Restore and Protect 5w30/ Premium Guard Filter.

271,006 miles. About 4500 miles on this fill.

What went in was the third interval of this oil. So far to date, the oil consumption of about 3/4 to 1 qt per 5,000 remains the same. 9500 mi total on VRP. Very early on into the first interval, a startup noise after sitting was eliminated, likely due to the timing chain tensioner solenoid being dirty. Very pleased so far, hoping this or the 4th oil change will start reducing oil consumption, although I can live with it.

I’d use VRP for the remainder of this cars life. It clearly deserves it and you will be the beneficiary!

I read it as the poster is a traveling tech who was called to change the oil on the truck. Probably doesn't know the OCI, or care about the mileage.

Argos is the Advance house brand. Was probably there for the filter and picked up what was cheap.

2008 Honda Civic, 1.8L (Daughter's)
170k on vehicle
5k oci; 8 months
Out / In the same: 4 Qt VRP 5W30 / OEM filter (15400-RTA-003, Japan made)
Installed Valvo-Max drain kit. Aluminum pan threads were sketchy. I tapped them, flushed 1/2 Qt of clean oil through, let sit a week, then installed Valvo-Max with Loc-Tite thread sealer, let sit another week before dumping oil in.

24' Nissan Rogue SV
Mobil 1 Hybrid with OE filter out and same went back.
Oil change interval 6 months (4,772 miles) saved some mileage with the car being in the body shop for deer damages and had a loaner for the rear glass recall-replacement.
Just not worth filling the hotdog compressor to set tire pressure and was able to try out the new 1/2 torque wrench. I may have been overfilled a tad pulled out 4.5 liters which is 4.75 Qts or we have fuel dilution maybe but I tell you the oil never smells like fuel. Rode around the block let the car sit 10 minutes and I am full on 4 Quarts. Will put some miles on tomorrow and recheck.

Those Rogues aren't 24 feet. No way.
Dunno I once saw year abbreviated that way and it stuck with me it may have been on not this vehicle but years ago on the keyring tag when you take delivery of a new vehicle. This may be the correct way ‘24. It was a long time ago and I’m known to be semi dyslexic lol.

2021 Hyundai Tucson - Daughter-in-laws vehicle.

37928 on vehicle, just over 4500 on the oil. They came home for Memorial BBQ at her parents house. On/Off drizzle this morning but mostly dry. Next 2 days a lot more rain and they go back Monday. Good for the next 4k / 6 months.

Out - 4.25qts of Valvoline Restore and Protect 5w30, OEM filter.
In - 4.25qts of Valvoline Restore and Protect 5w30, OEM filter, Filtermag on filter.
2021 Hyundai Tucson - Daughter-in-laws vehicle. Son and her are home for weekend for her sisters engagement party and a friends wedding.

41701 on vehicle, 3773 on the oil. Hot and humid so got it done early. They stayed at his in-laws to help with party setup, I went and swapped cars at about 7am. Rain is forecasted off and on for weekend and they go back to Virginia on Monday. Good for the next 4k / 6 months.

Out - Just over 4qts of Valvoline Restore and Protect 5w30, OEM filter. I had ramps in slightly different spot I guess. Votex drain plug was totally clean.
In - Just over 4qts of Valvoline Restore and Protect 5w30, Ecogard X10479 from @Hootbro, Filtermag swapped to new filter.

Did the dad things, cleaned windows, vacuumed (their golden retriever is really cute but holy hair), filled gas tank, simple green motor, car wash, Aquapel front and Rain-x sides and rear, windshield squirter full, tires checked, Yeti cup full with ice and water :). Ready to roll.

Unfortunate you learned from the wrong way.

The apostrophe goes where stuff is missing. For example you don't write cant' you write can't because the "no" is missing from "cannot."

So since the "20" is missing from the 2024, you write '24. 24' is 24 feet.
