That's a good volume of oil! I still don't understand how they're able to do the free returns thing on used oil?

I don’t always stick with them. Before it was Amsoil for the Duramax. I’d rather do shorter OCI so I find myself ordering whatever they have. It’s not really a money thing at all I just kinda like that it forces me to try other oils. I really like the LiquiMoly. It’s been very solid for me and the packaging is great. The 1L bottles fit perfectly in my slide out drawers and they’re easy to refill and send back.

I don’t know the real numbers but all the oil sent back is resold for secondary uses so maybe they’re basically breaking even.

I looked for new struts at a local junkyard but every toyota from that generation had broken hood struts. I've seen someone drill a hole through both the inner and outer sections of the support and put a small nail in there to hold up the hood. If that doesn't work, ill just get new ones.
Do I need to start a GoFundMe for you?

2008 Malibu w/ 2.4L Ecotec ~113200mi
OCI:7mo and 2k mi.
Out: M1HM 5W30 and ST9018 wirebacked cotton? media
In: M1 15W50 and a Fram CH9018 I had sitting around
I have another one of those wirebacked cotton filters I think, and 1 or 2 XG9018s still laying around, and I think one wirebacked glass fiber ST9018, since Fram/Champ Labs went under, there's not a whole lot of choices for these now, it does however appear that Delco has went back to using the OEM Hengst filter for the PF457G now when before they were the cheap paper Champs that twist and the only way to get the real Hengst was to buy the entire cap assembly.

If that were me I would have a dilemma. Do I want to drive the car 156 more miles to change the oil at exactly 30,000 on the odometer or just drive it 4 more miles to put exactly 5000 miles on the oil 🤓😆

Late on this one, back in May
2011 tacoma with 4.0 v6
3700 miles. Been over 6 months with short trips, winter driving etc so really wanted to make sure I changed it.
Out- valvoline advanced protection
In- M1 extended protection 5w30 with half a quart of Castrol 5w30. Oem filter yzzd3 both times. Reminds me, I need to get more filters.

At the time walmart was out of random 5 w 30 oils just like in November or so last time I bought 5w30.
