I typically do 5k mile oil changes, even with the extended drain oils like Mobil 1 Extended Performance. But, I changed early this go around. I try to keep the 5.3 DI behaving, so I don't like to go past 5K miles. I got up yesterday and the weather was just too nice, so I poured a cup of coffee and did this oil change at 4,100 miles. I thought I would try a 0W-30 this go around.

EDIT: Removing filter is messy on this beast, very messy. Drain plug (15mm) has a weird rubber gasket mess. Can't see that lasting. Will keep spares on hand.
