Engine is silent with this oil, hopefully it slows down the leak till I can properly pull the cab and fix it.

This is the 40th oil change on the 2006 Honda Odyssey EX-L (VCM active) with 207.2 K miles.
Out: Rotella Gas Truck 5w30
In: Rotella Gas Truck 5w30
Filter: Fram Ultra (original version with 20K rating) went in; The old filter had about 19K miles on it. Definitely needed replacement as it was covered in molasses-like crud (probably from using Rislone Engine Treatment as a cleaning agent over the last week on a long roadtrip).
OLM: 30% remaining on OLM. (~5500 miles since last oil change). Nearly half that mileage was driving from MA to WI and back.
Engine is working fantastic. I just posted in another thread about the use of Rislone Engine Treatment as a cleaning agent. Photos of the XG7317 are posted there. I have never seen so much gunk on the filter as I have seen on this filter, probably from using a small dosing of Rislone. I was surprised. Recommend keeping an eye on the filter change out when using Rislone Engine Treatment.

The second oil change for my wife’s 24 Acura RDX. Every 5k miles with 5.1 quarts 0w-20 Amsoil Signature and OEM Honda oil filter. Took about 30 minutes with Rhino Ramps and jack stands as back up. Very satisfied doing the work in my garage. Going on 40 years of wrenching and still loving it.
Next will be the front, center and rear differential service on my 23 GX460 along with greasing the zerks on the front and rear driveshaft. And maybe adjust the parking brake as it's been pretty weak since I bought it 18 months ago.

2005 Pontiac Vibe:

Out- unknown oil, Service Champ Filter.
In- Valvoline Restore and Protect 5w30, Microgard Select Filter

305,847 miles.

Just got this car last weekend, great shape! Have to track with trip meter as odometer stops at 299,999. Previous owner said it was due for an oil change and that he did them at 5,000 miles roughly always. Checks out as this one could have around 5,800 mi give or take. Whoever had been servicing it, reused the old gasket one too many times lol. Had to get it off in pieces, seems like a plastic material. Put a nice metal one on to replace it.

Good on you for treating that Pontiac to quality lube... I've heard the Vibe is just like the GTO!

Nice work, and great choice with the mileage and unknown history to use Valvoline Restore and Protect and a great filter. 🤌
