Post your latest oil change

Today I changed the engine oil, and filters, in a 2022 Volvo truck, with D13 engine.
Then all fluids, and all filters, in a 2024 Volvo truck, same engine.
Changed the engine oil, and filter in a 2021 Kia Seltos.
Then the wife's Ram 1500 pickup got an oil change, cabin and engine air filters, also interior cleaning, and pressure wash, before a coat of wax.

2007 Mazda 3 2.0
175764 miles

Out: Quaker State Euro 5w-40 with a dash of Frankenbrew top off oil

In: Frankenbrew of Quaker State Euro 5w-40, Supertech High Mileage FS 5W-30, Napa FS 10W-30, and Quaker State High Mileage FS 10W-30

Good thing you have a top notch filter to save your engine from the frankenbrew! 😜

Starting 4th 5,000 mile interval of Valvoline Restore and Protect 5W-30 in the ‘23 Ford Bronco with Fram Synthetic Endurance Filter.

Completed my 4th Valvoline Restore and Protect 5w30 5,000 mile oil change today on my 2000 Ford Focus wagon. I’ve put 16,000 miles on this little 26 year old economy car since last April. No top offs, It uses no oil, and it runs like a top. I’m hoping the Valvoline Restore and Protect will keep the engine clean and running great for years to come. Simple 2.0 Zetec and 4 speed automatic.

Doing it tomorrow (Easter Sunday)
2014 Ford Fusion
2.5L
242500-ish miles (it's been to the moon and is now on its return voyage)
4000-ish OCI
It's been in the car since November and there were a lot of cold winter days with short city trips.

Out: Valvoline High Mileage 5W-20 and Motorcraft FL910S filter

In: Valvoline High Mileage 5W-20 and Motorcraft FO910S filter
Ok...I lied. I didn't get the oil change done due my aunt's passing and subsequent funeral in the other side (far western Iowa) of the state. I didn't figure another highway road trip would hurt the ol' girl so I waited until today. The mileage was 243285. Changed the air filter, too, and since I write the date and mileage in the filter itself, I noticed I put just over 15000 miles on that car in the last year. There was at least one recent year when I put over 40k on it so 15k seems like nothing.

2014 Scion XB. 2.4 2AZ-FE. 100780 mi.

Out: Valvoline Restore and Protect 5w30. Beck/Arnley filter.

IN: Same.

OCI was 5300. mi, a more than normal on a Toyota spec of 5k mi. max on any oil. This is the third round of Valvoline Restore and Protect.

Changed the oil on my dad’s 2005 Chevy Silverado 5.3L 139,164 miles. He’s not physically able to do it himself anymore plus I found good oil at a good price. 9 months and 3,100ish miles on this OCI.

Out: (6) quarts of “the local quick lube place” bulk oil probably conventional.
Off: Fram PH3506
In: (6) quarts of Castrol Edge 5W-30
On: MicroGard Select MSL51042

His truck doesn’t seem to have burned any oil which is surprising since he short trips so much. The oil that I drained out was dark, but not as dark as I had anticipated.

Are you burning any oil?

I’m sorry for your loss.

Here’s my spring oil change for the Subaru. I have several quarts of Amsoil XL 10w30 I’m burning through from a cheap market place haul. I’m still using smaller filter too with slightly lower bypass psi Got 4 left to burn before going to proper size. 6 pack price on eBay to hard to pass up.

Oil changes done today, 2025 Volvo truck with D13 engine, Delo 400 xsp 5w40, and volvo filters. 2025 Honda CRF450RL i just bought last week, yes last years model, and it got its first oil change today with Maxima Pro Plus 10w40 oil, about 3-4 hours on it. Let the Screams begin, didn't change the filter, because I don't have one for it yet, and the dealer is closed mondays. But in another 3 or 4 hours, it will get another oil change, with new filter, just ordered 10 on Amazon. No idea what year of Honda 3500 watt generator, its old, runs perfectly still, just got its annual oil change, Mobil1 5W50, no oil filter in it.
