I'm not criticizing, but interesting choice of absolutely top shelf CVT fluid juxtaposed with the Supertech coolant. Do you think the Supertech coolant is serviceable? Many swear by OEM pink Toyota coolant as the only acceptable choice. I haven't developed an opinion yet. My coolant is still good for now.

I use the Red Line CVT fluid in the Nissan CVT. I like it so far!

I haven't had any issue yet with the Walmart coolant. The guy around the pH test before doing the service and said it was still within range but they only charged me $89 to do it and i was already there having other services so i figured I might as well go ahead and have it done. I really enjoyed the red line CVT fluid. The OEM and Amsoil blend came out very nice with no disparaging looks so I was content running one of the more elite CVT fluids with PAO. The Pennzoil Ultra Platinum 5w20 and half a bottle of Schaeffer Moly EP 132 was a nice touch too. The technician noticed it was the same color as the stuff they use. They mostly do diesel service and have most of the schaeffer lubricants and BG main additives. The guy in front of me accidentally put DEF into the diesel fuel and his bill was $16,000 because apparently for the 2025 pickups they have to replace all the parts to retain the Ford warranty.

My wife's 21 Rogue with the 2.5L 4cyl. This was my first DIY oil change, because she wanted the warranty period done with dealer oil services. I dumped the Nissan Gonher oil filter and replaced with WIX 51358 and used Pennzoil Platinum 0W20 x 5.1 Litres.

The belly pan was naturally the most challenging aspect of the job. The dealer missed some pieces of the plastic plug fasteners when they did the services, fortunately I keep plenty of spares on hand. Such an easy car to service if the belly pan wasn't there......hmmm? Okay it will stay, but it does make you consider short-cuts.

2023 Mazda cx5 turbo...changed a bit early at 3900 miles (usually 5000 miles) as we are headed out on a long road trip in the morning ~2500-3000 miles so figured rather be early than late...anyway my vehicle takes 5.1 qt's and if you have seen a mazda 2.5 T OEM filter you know they are thimble size :) any way this is what I got out...the black sharpie was where the jug was filled to new...43000 miles and not really using any. I run this vehicle hard usually in sport mode..my wife on the other hand drives it pretty easy so it gets a good mix of rpms :).
