I used 25-30 lb-ft

Hard to go wrong with this torque on a drain plug. Most if not all that I've seen in passenger cars and trucks fall in this range. If you don't know for sure, couldn't hurt to check it to make sure it's still torqued to value after some usage.

That would drive me crazy seeing the digital oil level not quite at the top When my ex wife had a BMW with one of those digital oil level gages I always would top it up as soon as that oil level went down by one notch

My friend's "new" Wisconsin VG4D industrial 4 cylinder 30 HP on a 9" brush chipper
Out: black stuff but nothing bad, NAPA 1106 filter
In: 4 qts Rotella Syn 5w40 + 2/3 qt Quaker State Hot Rod oil; NAPA 1106 filter

Filter was $40, ouch! I thought it was an oil bath air filter, but no. I have to do some research.
The drain bolt was a 9/16" square drive pipe thread and was pretty tight. Can anyone suggest a torque value? I used 25-30 lb-ft.

It actually serves a purpose by helping me keep track of fuel diltuion. So far doesn't burn any oil but the level does rise every now and then.

Installed a MC820s an old stock non louvered one, and filled with Valvoline MaxLife 10w30

Oil change on this hot rod.

Out with the Valvoline MaxLife and MC filter.

In with this
