Your son still using the Delo XSP 5w-40 in his 6.2? I only have a couple gallons left for my son's GMC then it'll be some type of concoction to use up the partial jugs laying around.

That's good. You may wish to top it off frequently, always keeping the level at the full line. It’s actually not consuming very much, I’m almost to 3500 miles and it’s only consumed about a half qt so far. Engines are odd

I have the same issues with our Toyotas, I thought about trying a copper washer if I could find one.As with other Toyotas i have owned, oil change is straight forward.
The drain plug is positioned at the rear of oil pan, so perfect of DIY service on a set of ramps.
Only part I hate about Toyota oil change is the drain plug washer that always stick to the oil pan.
Need to hammer a small flathead screw driver against the side of aluminum washer to get it to detach.

Valvoline oils probably have the highest levels of Moly for off the shelf oils. Redline is just crazy good stuff and I’ve used a lot of it with excellent used oil analysis So a blend of both makes an excellent blend of high moly oil my engines lovesHow did you decide on this combo?
