Post your latest oil change

Six liter Adcraft deep frier.

Out: five liters of dark amber oil with a slurry of breadcrumbs at the bottom
In: six liters of LouAna brand peanut oil

Refined peanut oil is reported to have a viscosity of 38cP at 38 degrees Celsius, a smoke point of 232 degrees Celsius and a flash point of 282 degrees Celsius. I guess that means that it could be used as a lubricant in a post apocalyptic Mad Max sort of world. I wouldn't suggest that you try this.

Less mess and less inventory - one less filter to have on hand as one can service three cars. I have 3 filters on hand, the standard Toyota D1/PH3614 spin-on, N1/PH4967 and the A1/CH9972. I’ll have to buy A6/CH10385 filters now.

I hate Toyota cartridge filters. If only they did them like Mercedes, BMW, VW/Audi and I hate to admit it - Mopar.
Got it. The four vehicles I maintain each take a unique filter so I am never really able to buy in bulk.

Throw a couple pounds of bacon in there! Peanut butter, bacon, and hot pepper jelly sandwich is da bomb!

Especially with Mother Tucker hot pepper jelly... tell Chris Tucker (the owner) that RyanY sent you! ;)

I had that exact car! I took it to 348k miles before I traded in on a 2008 E320 Diesel. It was solid, a tank, and great on the highway.

We drove it to Alaska from Connecticut this Spring. It’s an amazing road car.

With meticulous maintenance I believe it will last a long time.
