Well after years of chasing down and having to make choices, decided to go Amsoil. My Honda Certified Master Technician uses their oil and filters in his own Hondas, he made the suggestion when I was asking about a better filter than the Honda, hey, if its good enough for him, works for me. Pablo here on the site has also been most helpful and informative.

SD's 2008 Honda Accord LX, 2.4. 165K miles. Fram EG, 3/4 qt HPL Cleaner, 3.5 qt Mobil Syn 0W-20. I used what was in the garage. Car has had quicky lube mystery juice for it's life in Chicago. There's some crusty stuff coating everything under the oil cap, so just playing with the gentle cleaner based on previous experience. Now that she's local again, Step-Dad's Garage will keep it on the road for a good while longer.

I had that exact car! I took it to 348k miles before I traded in on a 2008 E320 Diesel. It was solid, a tank, and great on the highway.
