Some additional context is needed here in terms of the use case. This vehicle has been driven the way a PHEV was intended to be driven, meaning mostly EV miles. Prior to my retirement it was logging at least 15 EV miles per day. The next image of the trip odometer summarizes fuel ecconomy over the course of 26,655 miles of driving. The trip computer is reporting 113.5 MPG which means that only one in three miles were ICE powered.
The next image of the trip odometer summarizes fuel ecconomy over the course of 3587 miles since the date of my retirement. As the fuel ecconomy of only 80.9 MPG would indicate, the percentage of EV miles has fallen significantly.
The recommeded OCI for this vehicle is two years or 20k miles, whichever comes first. As of 19 August those two years had expired and we were at 19.8k miles into the OCI. I was beginning to worry that the OLM wasn't working. Then on the morning of 20 August, two years to the day of the last change, the OLM finally lit up. Here's what it looked like this morning prior to the change.
