Post your latest oil change

Oil being poured in looks like pride of a Venezuela heavy sour 🤣🤣🤣

Please tell me you are mailing me more used filters. I’m bored.
Just the BG EPR was 2 years ago. The oil/HPL/EC30 was from newest to oldest. "previous OCI was same Delo/HPL. Prior to that was PP Euro-L and HPL, M1 with EC30, PP with EC30"

I will probably have one to send after Pilot does a VA trip next week. I had one making a mess so I cut like 5 with pictures. I'm waiting for filter media to wick out to paper towels so I can finish them.

2 cars are now in VA so not sure what I'm doing with changes on them. Jeep is still 1000 miles off before next change and only does around town.

Anything of note after running it for 4 OCI's?

Not really. The engine ran very well before VRP and did not use any oil. Now it's the same.

However, the entire valve area on the front bank was very dark last year when I adjusted the valves. Now the area under the fill port seems to have less varnish, so perhaps this extends across the entire area (?) It's too bad the cover isn't easier to remove, to evaluate things like this!

Brothers 2014 Honda Accord EX-L w/ K24, 130,687 miles
Out: Valvoline Restore & Protect 5W-30 (3,800 miles on oil), Fram Titanium FS7317 Wire backed (June 2023 date code)
In: Same oil (2nd run of VRP), Honda 15400-PLM-A02 (March 2024 date code)

Now on 2nd run of VRP. Decided to dump the first round a bit earlier than 5k as I see that is the trend around here. For this round, might keep it in for the full 5k, will see. Mostly doing this to see if it can slow or stop the consumption which I’m sure is the rings, engine has always been maintained and under valve cover pics (posted them a while back, can’t find them rn) prove that. K24 engine things… Also dumped the Titanium early even though I knew I could run it more (Yeah, call it a waste) but was afraid it was gonna clog like some others I’ve seen on here. Spoiler: it didn’t at all, will be doing a cut and post soon in the filters thread. The next two Titaniums I use will be used for the full two OCIs, was impressed by the quality when I opened it, a shame they don’t make them like that anymore.

Replaced the air filter with a new Wix WA10981, rotated the tires and found the leak that he thought he was seeing.

Just above the oil cooler I saw the drip location being the 11mm head bolt that was just a bit loose. Pulled the inner liner back to get to it and snugged it back up. Almost one full turn, snugged up the other as well maybe 1/8th of a turn. The bolt threaded right into the back of the engine casting it appeared. Hopefully that stops the leak as he leaves this weekend for Junior Hockey and is headed to meet his team in Minnesota.
