Post your latest oil change

Did the wife’s car today

2010 Mazda 5. The car is rotting away (in San Diego) but is mechanically sound.

Out: Schaeffers 9000 5w30
Msl51516

After my experience in the Fiesta ST, I wanted to drain it. And it was also very very thin.

In: RP HMX 5w30
RP 20-400 (still have a few of these from a couple years ago when they were TANKS)

2021 Kia Seltos (72,600 miles)
Out : VRP 5W30 + Fram Endurance #9688
In : VRP 5W30 + Carquest Premium Select # 85334
OCI : 4,000 mile / 6 months
* Last OCI went longer than I would have liked (6,200 miles) with a first run of VRP . I encountered some oil consumption which had not occurred before , so I will watch closely as I keep the oil level checked every gas fill up . The Kia 2.0 MPI Nu engine had some reported oil ring issues which I may have to look into if oil consumption continues.

2018 Mazda CX-9
STP 10W30 HM, S6607 filter

2018 Chevy 1500 5.3
Delo 15W40, S10590 filter
Haven’t you heard….. HDEOs will cause excessive wear in gasoline engines?
That’s why my son’s 5.3L went 250,000 miles on xW40 Diesel engine oils and 5w40 Euro A3/B4s before he parked it because of frame rust.
With xW40s, it would run out the OLM without adding oil between drains.

2013 Mazda 6 at 180,000.
Microgard select filter, prefilled, Kirkland 5w20 and some extras.
Suck/fill the power steering rez with Amsoil ATF.
Spun the filter a little less tight. I might have turned the bolt a bit too tight though. I guess the awkward body and arm angle underneath didn't keep me in check. Now I actually have to think about it. What a world.

BiL’s 5.3L did 400k on Mobil Super 5W-30 bulk and jobber filters …
This of course predated AFM …
