Was the Cat necesserary? I've had only one experience with an aftermarket cat, probably going back to about 2015. It wasn't a good experience. Luckily the shop I was dealing with took the hit and replaced it with the OEM cat on their dime.

I have I think 4 more jugs of PP which is another 2 years worth of changes (4 changes).
Also replaced the Cabin Air filter with a Bosch HEPA 6092C and put a bottle of BG 44k Platinum in tank. Will follow up with a bottle of B12 in a future tank. My last can of 44k. Have a 12 pack of Amsoil P.I I just got. I use a FI cleaner every OCI and B12 once a year.

In : Pennzoil Ultra Platinum 0w20, Fram Endurance 6607 with white wire backed media and e core.
Out : HPL PCMO 10w30, Beck Arnley Filter.
Ran the HPL for 10K miles, changed the filter at 5K. Also a Beck Arnley. Only observations was the old oil definitely had more a red hue to it than usual, and lost a few mpg's by going to a 10w30 instead of factory 0w20. If I was financially able I'd stick with the HPL. Got the Ulta Platinum for 23 bucks and the endurance for 8 at Wallys.

It had 400k plus i have aftermarket midpipe and borla exhaust. We did break in procedure and it flows better

As a side note, my Japanese made M20A-FXS had a whole lot less debris in the factory filter then my brother's A25A-FXS (US or Canadian Made?? Do they build engines in Huntsville Alabama?) in his new Mazda CX50 Hybrid that uses the powerplant from a Rav4 Hybrid. But is actually more fun to drive, being a Mazda.. Almost the same engine, one loaded with grit and crap at 400km, the other with a quantity that i would quantify as normal for a new engine.

What kind of consumption are you currently seeing from this engine?
What’s even considered normal for these Kia’s
About 1 - 1.5 qrts. over my 3,500 mile OCI . My driving habits flip flopped to do 80%+ interstate and highway driving now , so I’ll get a better idea with this new oil change how the oil consumption is responding to VRP .

Hopefully you see great results from VRP! It cut the consumption in my Civic almost in half

Yes. I like that i can have it at a bargain a couple of times a year at Canadian Tire.
