Post your latest oil change

2021 Ram 1500, 56,800 miles
Out: Pennzoil Full Synthetic 5W-30, 4828 miles. 38% oil life remaining
In: Valvoline Advanced Full Synthetic 5W-30, STP S11665 filter

Got a long road trip with the camper coming up, figured I'd get it out of the way. Brilliance struck when I dropped the oil filler cap, and as it clinked its way down behind the engine, kept waiting for the clunk when it hit the driveway. Noo.... Darn thing managed to stay on top of the frame rail and wedged itself between it and the exhaust insulation. They really ought to put a tether on those things like they do for gas caps...

2011 Nissan Xterra...oci 6 months 1k miles
OUT: Valvoline R&P 5W-30, Oem Nissan Filter
IN: Valvoline R&P 5W-30, Oem Nissan Filter

This was my first drain of Valvoline R&P, and was expecting a dirty Filter and Oil...but it was surprisingy clean. Videos below.

2017 Honda Accord Sport 2.4
393,000 miles

Found tiny seep in RMS, nothing awful but greatful not coming from transmission. Anyhow, changed fluid with Castrol Transmax 3qt, Hotshots Shift Restore/Redline Non Slip CVT remaining quart.

Changed Oil only with M1EPHM 5w30 & Liquimoly Hydraulic Lifter Additive just because I had it on hand and to slightly thicken up. Found a six bottle case of Castrol CVT Transmax in guest closet so i decided to use up, and if my leak was from transmission, the red dye would show up. Almost to 400,000 miles

My niece's 2005 Corolla, 162K, 5K OCI
Out: M1 5w30
In: Kirk HM 5w30; left filter

LR Michelin had 17.5 PSI. Oops. I hafta take care of this car or @The Critic will kick my butt. Wendy and the girls love this car; it has helped them tremendously. Gas is close to $5 around here and the Santa Cruz beach area is worse.

Looks like you got a piece of shrapnel or a nail in the tire. I know what's wrong with it, it ain't got no gas

2023 Chevy Blazer w/ 2.0L LSY engine. Bought it with 24,700 miles. Currently has 28,100 miles. I drained out less than 5 quarts, I’m worried the drain pan is leaking, but will keep a close eye on it for the time being.

It was my first oil change with the whacky plastic drain plug, what a mess! Oil was nice and dark.

OCI: 3,400 miles

Out: Dealer 0w20 and ACDelco PF66.

In: Valvoline EP 0w20 and CarQuest Premium 95146.

2023 Corolla Cross Hybrid 24,506 miles about 5 k on the oil that was
Last changed in September. Had been running 10k every 5-6 months but situation has changed and this fill had less long commutes and more short trips and a few weeks of uber duty while i took time off between roles.

Back in December I took it in for its last tire rotation on Toyota care and I swear the oil came back higher level and cleaner than I dropped it so the oil o changes could only have 900 miles on it…regardless some interstices findings.

Out dealer fill and a super duper tight Toyota filter. They do t need to use the wrench to instal it. I modified my vacuum pump with a bigger more powerful pump. and it removed all the oil in less than 15 minutes.

Out came over 5 liters of oil….

In went a Fram EP oil filter and 4.75 quarts of Valvoline restore a protect 0w20. The owners manual said it should take 4.4 quarts. It is at the halfway point in the good zone and may top it off to the max level. So it takes more than the owners manual states or the vacuum pump is more efficient at removing oil.

Oil oil came out very clean making me think it was mistakenly change at the 25kmtoyota care visit in December.

I will be resuming some longer commutes in hot dusty San Antonio area.

Easy oil change overall I don’t need ramps or jacks to service this car and change the filter.

Want to add, restore and protect smells like I remember SJ and SL versions of Valvoline Durablend did. I used in the early 2000’s.
