Woke up to about 6” of snow that had fallen overnight, so after shoveling and plowing:

Out: Havoline 5w20 and WIX WL10010
In: Havoline 5w20 and a Fram TG11665

I also swapped in a new air filter as it had about 12K on it and was a little dirty.

I feel your pain also, was going to change the oil on a struggling Mothers car today but it being 7 degrees/real feel. Told her it can wait until Monday after work. You got some meats on the front of that Caravan -- great idea. I feel this way though and hence me buying my house in Pa.. If its going to be real cold like it is now -- I want snow with it. Not saying I want to shovel 3 times a week constantly.

Got a 12 qt box of HPL Pcmo 10w30 with 1 qt of ec cleaner. With the 5 qt needed for the altima and 4 qt needed for the camry I had 2 qts leftover. After much deliberation used the leftover to change the oil in my Cub Cadet 22hp Kohler engine 😆

In: 3 quarts Havoline Synthetic Blend 5W20 SP 1 quart Havoline Synthetic Blend 5W30 SP & .7 quart Rotella MV Full Synthetic 5W-30 SN paired with ST6607

Note: This oil change was this morning yet at 17 degrees and thankfully no wind. Female friend of mine who is down on her luck with 2 kids and a mortgage with the Holidays here. Picked up the Havoline quarts at a Mom & Pop store for 2 bucks a pop and had the ST6607 filter on the shelf already. She has no clue the mileage on the old oil and filter and I believe her. I charged her nothing and was content with her just smiling in the end.

How are you supplied with oil? Noticed you use many different brands and types.

2017 Hyundai Sonata 2.4L GDI (55,500 miles)
Out : M1 5W30 EP + Fram Ultra
In : M1 0W30 ESP + Fram Endurance

First time using this M1 ESP oil in the 2.4L GDI . The HTHS of 3.5 should help this engine - it already runs slightly quieter and seems smoother at higher RPM’s with the ESP oil . Hopefully it helps a bit with oil consumption as well . M1 5W30 ESP would have slightly better NOACK but I was willing to try the 0W30 ESP at WM for $27 .
