4300 mile OCI

Out: Mobil 1 5w-30, OEM filter
In: Valvoline Advanced Syn 5w-30, OEM filter
Added: about .25 qts. during the OCI.

I wanted to try the VRP, but son picked up the wrong oil . Hopefully he'll get the VRP next time--I think the H/K 2.0T will be a good test-bed for that oil. The view through the filler hole reveals shiny parts, but the oil cap inner side shows heavy dark stains. The dipstick is fairly clean but has a little varnish on the upper (dry areas). Despite it's poor reputation, this engine runs really smooth, makes good power and has a nice rumble sound at the exhaust. I miss that turbo on my wifes 2019 2.4L!

I would love to have .25 of a quart of oil consumption over 4300 miles. My 2019 Sportage drinks **** near that every day on my commute for work.

Asking for my 2019 Kia Sportage. I got 111k on the odometer, bought used three months ago with 98k

2nd belt. I like Gates for belts. Rotate twice a year. Every 5k would be a good time to rotate. Also on fwd or AWD front to rear and cross the rears to the front
