Post your latest oil change

New to me 2005 Toyota Camry 2.4 282K, best running car I've ever bought for 800 bucks.

Out: About 3 qts of Unknown Oil and Fram EG 4386

In: 4 qts of Valvoline Maxlife Synblend 10w30 and Fram XG 4967... it seems the 4386 is no longer produced.
The local Lowes has the PH4386 but I haven't seen the XG version.

Changed the slippy juice in both cars in the signature this week. 170,000 and 180,000 miles.
Each takes 5.3 quarts. Used costco/kirkland 0w20 and Microgard Select filters in both. The 0.3 extra was from various leftovers which was, admittedly a mix of higher grades. I estimate the result was just under 1w21. As the legendary Paul Harrel used to say: not enough of a difference to make a difference.
I did make a mistake: I forgot to prefill the filter. Next time.

out goes 6 quarts of Quaker State Full Synthetic 5W-30 Dexos 1 Gen3 and a Champ XL PH44XL oil filter and in will be 5 quarts of older Mobil 1 5W-30 Dexos 1 Gen2 and 1 quart of Quaker State 5W-30 Dexos 1 Gen3 and another Champ XL PH44XL filter...

using up the older single quart Mobil 1 5W-30 Dexos 1 Gen2 oil mentioned as that's what it is but my Denali doesn't require Dexos approved motor oil...

used zero oil and oil is still a light "iced tea" color after almost 5K miles and 8 months...OLM in the single digits on a 2005 GMC Yukon Denali 6.0 V8...

Bill

ya Dexos is irrelevant in a 2005 LS motor!!! I think you can run Crisco in these and it won't matter lol ;)

Soon ill be running my clearance stash of old gray bottle Pennzoil platinum 10W-30(pre-natural gas formula) 2009 date code in my 01 Suburban and 09 crown vic 🥴 (y) 😎

Not sending this sample off to Blackstone, but I’ll do this one next time. I like this Vietnamese filter with the P-style O-ring.

No mention of DEXOS . I'd use it for other vehicles stating DEXOS . Using non DEXOS P.U.P. 5w-30 in the the '18 Accent and plan to use the P.U.P. 0w-20 in the FIT .
