Just picked up a new to me 2016 Accord sport with 28,500 miles. Drained the unknown and replaced with 1 Qt Bel-Ray 5W20, 3.5 Qt's Amazon Basics 0W20 along with a Fram Ultra 7317.

According to the Carfax, the last oil change was just performed at 28,400, but judging by the looks of the oil, there is just no way. Thinking the dealer pencil whipped that entry.

Sister in-laws 2004 Taurus 3.0 DOHC 207,000 miles

Out: who knows? Some quick lube bulk
Mighty T48 filter (doesn’t cross reference to the correct filter)

In: Supertech High Mileage 5W30
Motorcraft FL-820S
New oil pressure sensor
New magnetic drain plug

I’ll start doing her oil changes moving forward. After seeing how small the mighty t48 was compared to the correct filter, and the fact that the filter they installed didn’t even cross reference to the correct filter. I told her to just let me know next time she’s due for a change.

They most definitely ran out of the right filter and used one that would screw had a few friends that worked at Valvoline and said they would have to do that from time to time

I think it's just the "universal" size they use for that size thread, rock Auto lists the Champ/Lube-Finer PH48 as an appropriate filter for that car.View attachment 135724
Interesting thanks for looking into it. It’s odd they show a PH820 which I would think would be the replacement for the FL-820S. Either way the T48 was much smaller in overall size than the Motorcraft I put on. And the Motorcraft was $3.97 on Amazon
