Love the wood ramps. I made the same. What brands of oil did you use in your fleet? Look at that beautiful dessert concrete driveway! The road salt here in the rust/snow belt destroys our vehicles, roads, and concrete garage floors.
I use a cut jug of Mobil Super screwed in valve cover which it still works great ,many years later. They are a good tool to have. No mess and very convenient.
2016 Ford Fusion 2.0 ecoboost
5.7 quarts 5w30 Supertech FS
Motorcraft fl910s filter
........The oil always comes out dirty smelling like fuel. Everyone I know who has an ecoboost says the same thing.
They do dilute the oil with fuel but from my experience with the 2017 escape with a 2.0 ecoboost it doesn’t care, I’ve ran all sorts of OCIs on it some up to and over 15-18k miles and it’s got 136k miles on it now, no issues other than an oil leak that had developed from the vacuum pumpDo Ecoboost's have issues with fuel dilution?
Oil leak caused by the vacuum pump? My guess would have favored high fuel dilution! They do dilute the oil with fuel but from my experience with the 2017 escape with a 2.0 ecoboost it doesn’t care, I’ve ran all sorts of OCIs on it some up to and over 15-18k miles and it’s got 136k miles on it now, no issues other than an oil leak that had developed from the vacuum pump
My guess would favor 136k miles on an OE gasket, after doing some research it’s a fairly common problem luckily for me it was in an easy to reach place just had to unbolt it from the back end of the head and pop the new one onOil leak caused by the vacuum pump?
