Decided to change when the blot test was showing overall blot darkening, plus an inner halo. I am tending to just change the oil when it gets this way and is clearly dark from a dipstick wipe as it seems to be a simplest approach...Very slightly lower consumption this OCI. Did an alcohol flush before draining--poured in 12oz when the engine was already warmed, turned it on and ran for 30 seconds, turned it off, and drained.

Had to screwdriver off the old filter, I didn't have a cap that fit the filter and no room for my adjustable to grab it, whichever engineer placed that filter there is an idiot , hence why I put the KN on to make it easy for the poor soul who changes it next
