Post your latest oil change

2003 Honda Civic EX 164634 miles.

Out: Frankenbrew (using up leftovers of 0W20, 5W30, and 0W40) and AC Delco filter, about 900 miles (flush)
In: Mobil 1 0W30 AFE and Fram Ultra XG7317
Plan on running this about 5000 miles, which should be around 9-12 months.

Today the temp was in the high 50s F, next couple of weeks will be 40F or below, so I figured I'd better get it in while I can.

Your brew was likely good for -22F.

Shell Rotella T6 multi-vehicle 5w-30
NAPA Platinum filter

It's gotten close to 0F in the Chicago area, and Rotella is supposedly good for cold starts. Engine definitely starts smoother than I've ever seen it when it's this cold, and it pours a little different from any oil I've seen too. It actually beaded down the funnel almost like bubbles!!!

Rotella is FANTASTIC!

2009 Honda CR-V AWD with 169,173 miles. I used O'Reilly brand conventional 5W-20 with MicroGard 57356 filter (Made In USA version). I was at 30% after a year of short distance highway commuting.

Our 2014 CR-V with about 117k miles was 2 months shy of 12 months for our oil change. I want to say maybe about 8k miles on the oil but it was at -2000+ miles on the MM. And I would say ~70% was highway so I'm confused why it went so quickly. Not that it matters to the MM but we used Amsoil SS and an Amsoil Filter.

I don't know what formula the MM uses to calculate oil life, but I normally change the oil and filter when it gives the notice at 15% remaining. I changed it at 30% because it's been 12 months and I have a cross country trip coming up.

Tomorrow for the 2018 Jeep.....

Out: Shell Rotella Gas Truck 0w20, 5k miles on it, and Fram Ultra cartridge filter (about 9k, went 2 rounds)

In: 3 quarts M1 ESP 0w20 X2 and 2 quarts M1 ESP 0w30, Fram Titanium (Advance Auto's version of the Ultra).

I'll go at least 5k on this combo, but might stretch it out to 7k or 8k if I'm feelin' it.

It’s the one my Prius loves - it doesn’t burn it no where as much as a PCMO after a piston soak. I’ll keep on using it.
