Short oil change interval for the burban. Only about 2,000 mile on the oil and filter. We have a long trip in the future.

Also replaced 2 power steering hoses that had slight leaks.

Did an oil change on my wife's Equinox. I usually take it to the local shop but my work schedule is wonky so I went into work early to use the heated shop. The 1.5T is ridiculously easy to do. Yes- the car needs a bath big time. Darn MN salt.

The Japanese small trucks are more common but the Chevy, Dodge and Ford trucks are quite common.
The only issue is that they rust a lot and that spareparts is not so easy to order from US any more. 10 years ago it was so nice and easy to order directly from US but i guess it got som export taxes or something that made many stores to stop sending outside of US

Oil used, witch's brew including Delvac 1300, Mobil 1 5w-30, Rislone engine treatment, Motorkote, LiquiMoly 2009, this engine don't care, just don't let 'er run low. Drank about 1 quart every 1200 miles.

Oil change procedure began with a 10 minute Chemtool idle flush.

DELVAC 1300 + Motorkote & Wix 51516

This is a flush run, just a few hundred miles, then using 100% Mobil 1 in 2022

Shed a few tears doing this oil change today. I serviced it regularly for him. My uncle passed away on the 13th of this month. He wasnt just an uncle to me and a brother to my dad, he was one of our best friends. His son has the truck now and we plan on taking it to a million miles. My uncle would be proud.
