First person I've seen here with a mazdaspeed 3. I sold my 09 last year with 143k, bought brand new december of 08.

I believe user M Compct also had a gen 1. He posted plenty of mobil 1 uoa’s dispelling many myths about fuel dilution. I love the little car, plan to keep her until at least 200k at which point hoping Bronco is out and debugged.

2011 Ford Fusion SE w/ 2.4I 100k km (60K miles)

The Wix 51085 is not the recommended filter for this car. It is equivalent to the Fram PH16/XG16 whereas the recommended filter is the PH3614/XG3614. However, the threads, gasket size, drain-back valve, and bypass pressure are all the same between PH8, PH16, PH3600, and PH3614. The 2.4I engine in the 2011 Fusion has enough clearance for the PH16 / Wix 51085, so I went ahead with it and it's working great! I like having a bit extra filter media from the larger filter, however little that may actually achieve.
