Today was the 2012 BRZ and my lady's 2009 Maxima....so not a chick car its great.

Subie, I was stoked to see 10w30 appearing on the market.

Maxima is doing lots of short trips, as my partner works in community care, so got what's left of some Magnatec DX...C3 and Dexos 2. Kylie refilled the sump.

In: 4.5 qts Amsoil OE Motor Oil 5w-30

Changed Fram Ultra filter-replaced with same

Added a half quart of Rislone restore about ten miles before the old oil came out

In: The second half of my Mobil 1 5W40 Turbo Diesel Truck that was cut 50/50 with Mobil 5w30 just for fun, plus a quart of Mobil 1 5W40 Turbo Diesel Truck.

Had 5,000 miles on the old oil and the OCI said 41% left. I’m routinely using 5,000 miles.

Napa Gold filter from my stash. I’m out of Fram Ultras. I’m missing the no-slip coating on the Fram already.

The new Valvoline is super smooth. No Nu engine ticks.

Oil was very black. Told my dad don't touch the OLM !

Annual oil change time. 5w30 for both.

89 Sierra - truck was only driven 800 miles in the last year due to working at home but oil had a heavy gas smell

With all the city driving and letting them warm up in the winter I just don't feel I should run the oil over a year. I guess I should be using the "Cheap Insurance" brand instead of Valvoline.
