Post your latest oil change

A guy on a other forum is the owner of a large regional petro company in the Midwest and he doesn’t have enough good things to say about Kendall so that’s what kinda put me looking towards it. Wish they wouldn’t have gotten rid of the Ti though but oh well.
The Titanium was a nice feature however, most oil companies do not use it. I’m sure Phillips 66 knows what they’ve doing in their blending recipes.

Well, no one said they didn’t know what they’re doing. What was said was I wish they didn’t get rid of it. ;)

but yes, if it’s still fantastic without the Ti, no reason to add it in with extra costs related to it.

Uh, you've got some explaining to do. 5w30 and now 5w20? Isn't that spec'd for 0w20?
It has run great on 0w-20, 5w-30, and now 5w-20. Now, because this oil is not a full syn I won't be running the full mm. But, we ran a full syn last time and didn't run that all the way down either. This car actually developed a very light varnish on a full MM run of PPHM (0w-20) so I've pulled back the intervals a little bit since then.

FWIW, her last Honda ('14 CRV lease) had warranty engine work done. (VCT actuator). I'm the one who took it to the dealer for her, and never once were oil records requested. It wasn't even a topic of conversation.

How did fuel mileage fluctuate? Or didn't it?

'15 Tacoma 4.0, 85k

Out: 5.5 quarts M1 T&S 5/30, M1 102 filter.

In: M1 T&S 5/30, Fram Ultra 3614

This is the end of my oil/filter stash. Time to decide what's next.

This is for an elderly lady at work who doesn't trust any of the local oil change places. I told her what to get at WalMart, she brought the goods to my house, and I gave her a free oil change.

2006 Dodge Dakota 4.7L - 7000ish miles / 15 months on the oil
Out - who knows, but the filter was an orange Fram without the grippy stuff, probably from a Jiffy Lube-type place.
In - 5 qts SuperTech 5w-30 Full Synth, 1/2 qt ST 5w-20 HM Full Synth (she didn't buy exactly what I told her to), and a SuperTech ST16 filter.

She took the other 1/2 qt and is going to check in the morning and top off if need be.

What I told her to buy:
1 5qt jug of ST Full Synth HM 5w-20
1 1qt bottle of ST Full Synth HM 5w-20
1 Fram XG16

Regardless, she should be good to go for another year.

Most of the Fram with no grips is what I’ve seen used in the Walmart auto centers. I know that’s what I’ve pulled off the cars serviced at Walmart.

2011 Nissan Sentra 2.0 S MR20DE
112,318 miles

Out and off: Super Tech High Mileage Full Synthetic 5w30, Fram TG6607 1674 miles/148 days on oil and filter.

In: 4.12 qt (132 fl oz) of a Frankenbrew mix of Super Tech Full Synth 5w20 API SN & Super Tech High Mileage Full Synthetic 5w30 API SP, ACDelco PF1237 Oil Filter.

Also replaced: Denso air filter (3930 miles/329 days) with ACDelco Air Filterh and Denso cabin filter (3903 miles/328 days) with UAC Cabin Filter. (Not a typo. The old caf was changed next day, which is why the mileage differs).

2013 Ford Explorer, 120k oil change (every 5k). Motorcraft FL500S and same oil out.

I will be selling her in a few months for an expedition hopefully. I just couldn’t not change the oil and filters though!
