Where did you purchase the SHELL Rotella Multi-Vehicle 5w-30 ? How much ? Did you use the rebate ? Thanks

I get mine from Napa, in fact they have it on sale for like $23 at this time. No rebates available for Napa that I am aware of.
Figures , just picked up the R.G.T. on sale .
Could you also make some good pictures of its gasket please? I don’t really like the thin gasket of ph/TG/xg9688

There's a $7 rebate on the gallon jug of Rotella T6 Multi-Vehicle 5w-30 that's $22.99 at NAPA . Thus , $3.9975 per quart . Not so bad . May consider it for the J.D. D-130 riding mower . 2014 Ford F-150 5.0 out Mobil 1 Synthetic 5-20 and Mobil 1 filter/ in Castrol Magnetic 5-20 with an FL500S filter. I only ran it about 5,000 miles but it had been in the vehicle for a full year. I like to keep it in decent shape/ the OLM was at 50%.

I have to say that I am very impressed with how the car is laid out for oil changes, it really doesn't get any easier than that.

Also did Sister In-Law's 2004 Pontiac Vibe. probably after a year or so, miles on oil unknown, 126k mi on car.
Out: Pennzoil Syn 5W30, Bosch DistancePlus
In: QS Syn Blend 5W30, Carquest Red Can filter
Out: Honda factory fill, Honda Oil Filter

I just use it lol. I work 75 miles away from home, so 3,000 a month roughly and that's just work miles.
3 in the past few days since I didn't wanna change oil in winter.

Valvoline Maxlife 5w30 Synthetic Blend, Supertech filter
My new to me 2007 Ford Fusion 2.3L:
Valvoline Maxlife 5w20, Fram Tough Guard filter
Switching from Motorcraft 5w20 synthetic blend to the ST high mileage has cut oil consumption in my mother's car by quite a lot, and it smells less when driving around from the valve cover leaking less. I added only one quart at 2800 miles, at this OCI it was only about a quarter quart down at 4500 according to the dipstick. With Motorcraft I'd be down a whole quart at least, at 5000. So overall super satisfied with the stop leak capabilities of Supertech.

Ah the old Drain Plug ploy where they are pretty sure you have to bring it back. Yes just one of many ploys to get you back to the Stealership!

Yeah, Subaru went from a 17mm to a 14 mm drain bolt head a few years back. Seems to have softened the metal as well. When they get installed at the factory they paint the drain bolt. Seems to even have paint in the threads on the pan. To the credit of the dealer who did the last change, they did have the new plug installed with about the correct tightness. No biggie to get it out this time, easy peasy.
Just did an oil change on my son's new 2020 civic. 2.0. Oil drain plug on it was a breeze, but Honda must have employed a gorilla to put the filter on. Took me almost 30 minutes to get it off. I always hate the first oil change on a new vehicle.
