This engine only takes 3.7 qt but I drained over 4 qt, so it was overfilled

2001 ford focus, drained the "flush" OCI out, car had been sitting for a little over 2 years on POs driveway, so I ran Chevron Dino and a ST filter for 2k to clear out any [censored],

Replaced with a Motorcraft Fl400s and 4.5 quarts of Mc 5-20 Synthetic blend going for 5k OCI.

* This is the first OCI on a HM oil. I am going to drive it for 3K miles unless the oil gets dirty quickly. The engine had a strange tapping sound upon cranking for the first couple of days. The sound went away after about 50 miles of short trip driving. I can aonly assume the oil was doing a bit of cleaning?
