First of all screw toyota, I've been seeing alot of scare mongering toyota service commercials lately; you know the one with the carpenter shooting shotgun shell nails through the wall.

Please refer to the pics for the quality of toyota service. My gf just got off Toyota care "plus" maintenance package and now trust me to maintain her car. The drain bolt was probably torque to 5-10ft lbs if that and they used a non oem nylon washer that was cracked in half. The bolt had no resistance to spin. There was also something screwed up either with the bolt or threads because about half way thru I couldn't spin it with my fingers but it seated properly after that. I may get her a new drain bolt next time.

I suspect the toyota filter adbv was not functioning properly, barely any oil came off when let it drip before removing.

I used the blue Teflon coated washers torqued to 30 ft/LB. Also rotated tires. On a positive note, Castrol EP was free from walmart glitch days and the filter cost me $3.88 and around 6 bucks for a bag of washers. This is my second cheapest OC ever.

2015 Toyota Tacoma 4.0L V6

Out: 5.0qts of Resolute Synthetic Blend 5W-30 (Fleet Farm house brand), and .5qts if Mobil Super Synthetic Blend 5W-30.
Off: FVP R1348 oil filter.

5,000 mile OCI.

In/on: Exact same, nothing exciting.

I get the FVP filters (Factory Motor Parts house brand) for $2.35USD each, and buy oil on sale/rebate. $15 every 5k miles isn't bad.

Also replaced the engine air filter & cabin air filter ($20 for both shipped from RockAuto).

2016 Toyota RAV4.

Out: Mobil 1 AFE 0W20 and Denso 150-3021
In: Same

2018 Ford F-150 with 2.7 Ecoboost

Wife's 2017 MDX Elite 104990 km. Second oil change done since buying it July/2020. Bought EZ-drain to help with oil change last winter, but it doesn't fit with various attachments!! A bit annoyed, but I'll use it for my TL later on.

Out: Total Quartz synthetic 0W20 5.4L and Fram TG 7317
In: Same

Total mileage between oil change 11711 km and 7 months. Oil reminder at 30%. Probably could have gone more, but it was unusually warm October day in Alberta and I'd rather not do it when it's -30C in December. I find the oil to be coal black with DI engine vs. our other vehicles without DI ICE.

How's the oil usage going on that rig now Adam? SN looks like you're getting rid of some of your older stash!

2019 Civic 1.5 Turbonium, 19114mi. OLM at 30% with 2778mi on the oil. Car sees lots of short trips & freeway stints are limited with the kiddos back in school. Same out then in Mobil1 AFE 0w20 & Honda A02 filter. Last oil change was in May and we have a mini road trip from San Diego to Disneyland this week. We're ready! 😆

Too early to tell Johnny. Judging by the nice 20 minute smoke show though after adding KREEN directly in each cylinder I hope it does some great cleaning. Yeah, the lady was whining and calling me a “hoarder wanna be” 🤣🤣🤣

I have 5 5 quart jugs of QSGB 5w20 I’ll probably donate to “good wheels” used car place since I now have decent stockpile of M1 0w40

Adam it'll be interesting to see how that KREEN does for you.

Just changed the oil in my Sister-in-law's very lightly used 2008 Ford F-150 with the V8 4.6 L Triton. 69,900 miles on the clock.

6 qts. Supertech 5W-20 full synthetic
Fram Ultra XG2
Replaced the engine air filter (STP)

The oil had been in the sump since Jan. of 2019. There was only 2750 miles on the oil. I did send a sample to Blackstone for an UOA to see how the oil held up. (Dura Max 5W-20 semi-synthetic for a Quickie Lube type place)

Serviced the neighbor's van yesterday, 2003 GMC Safari 4.3 with 110k miles.
Out: God only knows what oil, it was very low and very dirty. Cheap jobber filter (Purolator "tech" I think).
In: Napa 5w30 synblend, Napa Gold 1036 filter (oversize).
Tire pressures were low all around. I hope they monitor the coolant level and flush the brake fluid like I suggested.
