Why is it using so much oil? Rear main, possibly oil pan? I know I've seen a fair amount of 4.8/5.3/6.0 Vortecs leak there.

Given how much came out using my oil extractor, I'll run this for 100 hours
Intend on using the filter up to 15,000 to 18,000 total miles.

FRAM Ultra stayed on for its second OCI. I say “no problem“ reusing this type of filter on a well maintained engine. Have cut open various Fram TG, Honda A01 and A02 thruout the years on this vehicle and the filter element looked very clean. Will C&P after next oil change. Just hope that the use of a “truck oil” is OK on this minivan. :D

2006 Craftsman GS6500 with Kohler 2 cylinder, around 30 hours on the oil.
Out: Delo 15-40 (for summer use). observation: engine sounded a bit thrashy with this oil.
In: Rotella Gas Truck 5-30 (Synthetic for winter use, makes for much easier cranking when very cold). First time using RGT 5-30. Overall, engine seems to sound less thrashy using this 5-30 vs. the 15-40 that came out.
Fram 7575 stayed on. I swap the oil to thicker in spring, then to thinner in winter. Like the Honda above, used to change filters out with each oil change but upon cutting them open, the filter element is nearly pristine, so will likely change it every 100 hours or so (Roughly every 3 oil changes).
