Post your latest oil change

What is prompting your change back to Mobil 1? Curious minds would like to know. Asking for a friend LOL
I go through stages. I was doing 10K changes with a factory filter change in between. From a price point it’s not really worth it. Saves time that’s about it. I’ll be going back to every six month changes. Love their other products though.

I had initially decided I was going to do 6 month intervals due to warranty, but decided I really am not worried about the warranty on this, not any real issues with this motor.
I am just going to stick with a 5,000 mile interval regardless of time with synthetic oil and OEM filters.
I was trying to wait till exactly 25,000 miles, but will be driving about 120 miles tomorrow.

Out. 6L Liquimoly Molygen 5W40 + Mann filter with Liquimoly Proline Engine Flush and sample sent to BS

No consumption.

Will return the used oil to FCP for a full refund using their lifetime replacement guarantee. Shipping is $21 in a USPS large flat-rate box.

Also did plugs (Denso IKH24s - also use FCP's lifetime replacement on these) all to get ready for the IS38 Golf R turbo going in and of course rotated the tires.

*Ever considered using a Fram Ultra Oil Filter 20K Mile ? I use in my '17 Sonata with no issues and better smaller filtering capability . I use for two 4,000 mile OCI's with PP 5W30 then change the filter(GDI engine = soot) , so price is the same as a Hyundai OEM filter . While the Hyundai oil filter is built well - the filtering media is only so-so .

I had, but the XG10855 did not exist until ~April/May of 2019. I had already bought 4 OEM filters for $30.

Also, I just can't make myself use a filter for multiple intervals.
I know it is fine to do so, but just can't make myself do it (although I am planning on a long term use of an Ultra on my F150).
I am not one that is convinced that better filtration than OEM makes a huge difference in engine longevity.

I actually just ordered 4 more OEM filters for $32 shipped last night.

Curious, what is FCP stand for? Sorry if it’s been mentioned but I haven’t been on here in forever and haven’t read through all the forums.

Thank you
Worth checking out if you have a Euro car - great place for parts and they all have a lifetime guarantee/100% replacement. I get all my consumables from them, pay once and then get a refund for everything moving forward. Rub is shipping obviously but if you are smart and combine things like I do with my oil changes, it's a great deal.

17 Kia Sportage
Out: PP 5w20, TG9688
In: M1 ESP 5w30, K&N HP1004

I thought the TG was leaking (saw some oil drops underneath), but it was clear when I got to the lift. Probably it’s all in my head and I just wanted to try ESP
