There was a nice pearlescence to the oil that came out. I would have dumped at 1K as per my normal routine with a new car, but I have to drive from SLC to Houston and did not stop to change the oil.

Well，in china total 9000 costs 32rmb when it has a discount,while castrol edge costs at least 46rmb.BUT FOR MY MACHINE,Total works better.for instance,its quiet,speed up smoothly,and less fuel use.maybe cause of a lower 100℃ css at 8.1.
I may try pp0w20 or vavoline synpower next time.

Everthing was fine except Silicon which was at 30PPM. A little high, changed the air filter. Blackstone said to go to 19,000 miles on next oil change. Will sample again at that time.

All other Elements were fine except this. They said to go 10,000 miles on next oil change and sample again. The lead's reading would likely be excess bearing wear. What would be the outcome if this were to continue? And, what would be my fix? Thank You, Bill PS, If it were not for this high lead reading I would go 25,000 to 30,000 miles on my oil changes on this car as my soot reading was only 0.2%!
