Fiesta's First @ 1923 miles.
Drained out the factory orange/green/milky swamp juice looking stuff. I wonder what kind of oil that is. It doesn't look like any off the shelf Motorcraft. I was probably supposed to leave it in for 10,000 miles, right? Too bad.
In with Valvoline 5W-20 Synpower and a Motorcraft 910S. Happy car is happy.

2010 Kia Soul 2L; 115k miles.

Out: 5W-30/10W-30 frankenblend, OEM Kia filter. 5700 miles on oil.

Good for the winter!

Wife's 2006 Acura TSX - 170K miles. M1 5w20 High Milage M1 filter.
This car has been so good. I never check the oil.
I don't much care for the oil filter location on the K24...

In-Mobil 1 0w20, fram TG filter. Will go 9k-10k on this as usual.

Thinking of going to mobil 1 AP next time for once a year rather than twice a year changes. Hate changing the oil on this truck since new. I think it can do it, but have some time to think it over.

Out: Jiffy Lube Bulk Havoline 5w-20, Premium Guard 4459

In: 5w-20 Castrol GTX HM, Full oil filter

I had been going to the Jiffy Lube as it is 0.5 miles from me. I had read on here and seen videos that was a bad idea. This morning I let a buddy of mine change it. He looked over everything real carefully and checked the fluid levels and added air in my tires. Top of the line service for $20. It was a blast watching everything done correctly without worry if I was getting top notch service.

2013 Chevy Equinox w/ 2.4L:

Out: Mobil 5w-30 blend, ACDelco filter
In: Pennz Platinum 5w-30, Fram Ultra XG9018

2006 Chevy 1/2-ton Silverado with new 5.3L motor:

Out: Mobil-1 5w-30, Baldwin B31
In: Chevron Supreme 5w-30, Fram Ultra XG3506S

I'm sold on the Fram Ultra and Bosch Distance Plus filters, along with Chevron Supreme 5w-30 (syn blend with a great add pack) for my older truck; Pennz Platinum for my newer vehicles requiring DEXOS-1 spec.

Note: The Chevron Supreme 5w-30 syn blend does just fine down to the -25 below temps we see in southcentral Alaska, to include my place in Wisconsin. Easily meets my truck's 6094M spec, and is available at Costco for a song. I've used Supreme for 3 trips between Alaska and Wisconsin -- 3500 miles in 5 days.
