Out: Mobil 1 0w-20 (SM) and Mobil 1 Extended Performance M1-110 filter.
23 months/5,053 miles on oil. This car spent a lot of time sitting. Last 2k miles were longer trips. I took a sample for a UOA. No makeup oil added.
In: Mobil 1 0w-20 (SN) and OEM Honda Honeywell filter.
Out: Mobil 1 0w-20 (SM) and Mobil 1 Extended Performance M1-110 filter.

Out: Valvoline SynPower 5w-30 (SM) and Fram Tough Guard Filter. 27 months/4149 miles on combo.
This is usually just used for towing a boat/hauling large items. For comparison sake this van had 84k miles in June 2007. The filter looked not so good with some varnish/buildup on the top. It wiped off easily with a shop towel. I wish I had taken a sample for a UOA. The oil came out dark, but not terrible looking.
In: 4 quarts Mobil Super Synthetic 5w-30 (SN) and Purolator PureOne filter. $23 deal at Meijer. This combo will be coming out MUCH sooner than the last.

^@cutlassvillager: Yes, in fact...why not a 6 month interval max? If you went over by probably twice the time frame the previous interval should have gone, it's best IMO to run a couple short intervals. SynPower isn't great at TBN retention in the first place, I know the miles are 'meh', but over 2 years? I wouldn't run SynPower for more than a year, ever. Based on their typical performance.
