Jeep Gladiator 3.0L Eco Diesel 45k miles. MM at 0%

out/off: dealer 5w-40 and mopar filter

in/on: 9 quarts Rotella T6 5w-40 with Carquest premium 95464 oil filter.

really don’t like that the filter/cap is one unit. should just be a cartridge like the pentastars. also, they mounted it on an angle where the filter housing doesn’t drain all the way so the filter is a dripping mess when trying to fish it out. another GREAT Stelanis idea, getting up there with Ford’s better ideas.

Is that a low saps conventional oil? If so, that's a first for me.
Did the VRP do it's job for you? Or, did you fire it?...;)

Mid/Low SAPS full synthetic with a bunch of stout approvals.

I have 20 jugs of Total and wanted to put them to use. I have nothing but good things to say about R&P. It ran excellent. I ran it for 2 OCIs and I believe it did what it was supposed to do.

20?
I can't do that. There's too much changing of the specs and too much changing of the favorites on this board.
I have to play along and never exceed the same OCI-oils for more than 2-3 changes. Then I switch to something else that's riding the high waves on this board.

At Costco, I once bought 9 Kirklands at $11 per jug and sold them-all weeks later at the same price I paid.
I once bought 8 Castrol Gold EP five quart jugs for $5 a-piece (Advance Auto) and used 2 - then donated the 6.

I believe I paid an average price of $8.65 or something like that per jug during the AAP sale a while back.
