2000 Buick Century 71k miles

Had Valvoline do a flush 2 years ago at around 35k which was the original coolant.

Had them do it again today at 71k. They use their MaxLife Coolant.

I plan on doing the intake gaskets next year when she hits 100k if it needs it or not, so it’ll get done again after that. Then I’ll just do drain and fills from that point on.

2019 GX460 55,400 miles
Out: OEM Lexus/Toyota Pink SLLC
In: Toyota Pink SLLC - radiator only

Just did a radiator drain and fill. Less than a gallon.

Maybe empty the block drains soon - when weather cools. System has 14 to 16 quart total capacity. But, Lexus recommends flush at 120k or 10 years, 50k thereafter.

Car care nut says 50k is better. Some owners just do radiator flush yearly.

Phoenix coolant strips looked ok for ph and cooling.

drained radiator and used the Airlift 550000 vacuum coolant filler to install the new coolant. It made it a very fast process.
Used Motorcraft yellow coolant and distilled water.
Changed out 6 quarts and system holds 13.

2006 Trailblazer 4.2L. 272,000km. Just did the water pump so whatever came out the block and rad was what was changed when I did the pump last in 2013 and thermostat in 2019.

In went Acdelco Dexcool as it was at the dealer and price not bad. Put in two gallons of premix and after a couple heat cycles, she's right on the money.

2005 Dodge Magnum, thermostat rubber thingy pooped out and tstat couldnt close.
Out, MoPar red, in since 2016, in, Zerex G05, twice.
FSM says they "staked" the tstat housing, they should have said theres a notch to line up the tstat properly, cause if it isnt it wont get to proper temp....
I place the blame 70% Dodge 30% on me....heh
