out: Ford Gold (i think)
In: ZEREX G-05 50/50 distilled water.

Had to drain the rad to do the oil cooler gasket leak fix. Got out a little over 2 gallons.

2003 Accord EX V6 - Timing Belt Service, Approx 1.5 gallons of Zerex Asian Blue to go with whatever Honda Coolant had been in there before. This will be the second coolant exchange for the car and everything still looks perfectly clean, no rust. ~229k on the car.

Typing that out made me curious, went and looked it up. According to the owners manual:

Total System Capacity: 2.2 US Gallons

But a 'Change' is 1.77 Gallons. So at 1.5 Gallons, I got at least 75% of it out. Good enough for me.

In March 2020, I bought 2 gallons of the "NEW" PEAK 10 X Full Strength(non 2eha) at AAP which was on sale & I used my $peed Perk$ Dollar$ and there was also an AAP$10 rebate. This along w/ 2 dallons of Walmart distilled water .98¢/gal.

I mixed both gal's of 10X w/ 2 gal's distilled water to make 4 gallons of 50/50. This amount gave me enough 50/50 to do D&Fs on 3 vehicles including the overflow. I only did the 2(Alt/Civ) cars in my sig and still have ~ 5+ to maybe 6 qts of 50/50 remaining.

I believe that after all was said & done, each gallon(now-50/50) cost me in the $5 range.

1994 Freightliner cab over with 11.1 Detroit 735,000 miles
Out: no idea, was orange/red probably some form of ELC
Flushed with Fleetguard Restore
In: TRP 50/50 ELC
Also waiting on my parts to install a coolant filter.

2008 Ford Escape. The coolant was super dirty when I bought it and read online that these have a problem about that and also a problem with the water pump and it said if the coolant gets dirty fast again then the water pump was going out and the water pump on these is the silent killer so it’s important to replace it if they’re going bad. Used Prestone coolant.
