Post your latest beer consumption

Lubricant to help me talk to relatives later tonight. Only needed two to get "oiled" up on empty stomach. Wish me luck 🤞.

Yuengling Oktoberfest. I wasn’t aware they made an Oktoberfest but glad they do. Also Samual Adams which I tried that was my dad’s. It was a bit darker but also very good. Will buy both of these again, very good. I put back the Supporo I originally grabbed in order to get these still haven’t tried Sapporo but want too. At $2.99 a bottle it’s really not bad. Found both of these at Earth Fare. I’ll probably try Sapporo next time.

Had a Henninger lager while I was in San Francisco. It was a single that I got at TJ's yesterday. It might have been too cold as I was reading recommendations that it should be about 6-7ºC and I couldn't exactly control it. But earlier I got a can of Almanac (Alameda, California) Cherry Sournova barrel aged sour ale at the San Francisco Ferry Building Farmers Market. I like a good cherry beer and they make it clear that it isn't a kettle sour.

Urban Artifact Dragons. Says it’s made with Dragonfruit; 10% gets the job done. Has a refreshing, slightly tangy taste with a dry finish. Killed the 4-pack in about an hour because it went down so well.

Only downside was the $16.99/4pk price. 😱

Dragonfruit? Having had it before (at least white flesh) and it was rather disappointing. Just slightly sweet with no discernible flavor. I was thinking it looked cool but otherwise was boring as heck.

3 Floyds’ Pillar of Beasts Barleywine. 14.6%, supposed to taste of salted caramel , coconut, and then aged in oak barrels.

Very thick mouthfeel, harsh taste profile typical of barleywines. Very long finish, oaky and bitter. I’d give it about a 6 on appeal after the first taste.
Dang… forgot pics.
