Post your Gas Mileage : Calculated

Filled up at Casey's in Lexington, MO while out wandering N. Central MO. with 87 octane e10. Caught a special at ONLY $3.98 a gal. I had 25¢ in Fuel Savers from HyVee so ONLY $3.73. YAY Truck is running great and getting excellent fuel mileage. This Casey's only has 87 octane RUG and diesel.

Filled up the R12s Beemer a couple days ago. I spent $12.75 at $4.99 gallon and rode 122.4 miles.
I didn't take my phone so no pics. Also lost the receipt the clerk gave me. I do remember writing the mileage on the receipt with my fingernail. Those two's take a lot of space.

33 FILLS : 37.8 (E.C.U.) - 35.6 (Calcd) = 2.2 greater than the CALCULATED for 33 fill-ups .

HAH, 362 miles on 7.2 gallons, so 50.3 mpg
Filled with the devil's juice E15 at Sheetz. I've used it before with no issues and no loss of fuel economy and it was $3.949/gal, $.50/gal less than E10.

Didn't fill up today but have the lifetime stats on my 2019 colorado...
Lifetime DIC MPG 20.1
Hand calculated lifetime MPG 19.4
Total gallons used 7386.4
Total miles driven 143749.4

Best tank:
DIC 28.4 MPG
Hand calc: 29.63 MPG
Miles driven 490.6
Fuel burnt 16.56 gallons

I thought that may have been a fluke fill up but it matched it with an almoat 28 mpg tank on the return trip. Neither were I attempting to hyper mile. Just driving normally, about 5-10 mph above posted speed limit most of the time.

Kawasaki Z125 Pro:
87 octane price per gal.- $4.399
Miles driven- 89
Gallons used- 0.860
MPG- 103.49
Cost- $3.78

10mpg increase since the last fill up and the only difference is temperature. Amazing how much easier it is for 9hp to push through 85 vs 55 degree air.
10 mpg really isn't much of a difference at 100 mpg.

To put it in the same perspective, the same improvement for the Ford Explorer a few posts above yours would go from 14 to 15.5 mpg.

That's why MPG is an awful unit -- one MPG at 10 mpg doesn't mean the same thing that it does at 20 mpg, and it means something WAY different at 100mpg.
