The vehicle's mileage calculator said 25.9 MPG. Our CRV's mileage computer is always optimistic.

Two trips to the big city on this tank, so close to 200 miles of this tank were highway.

RUG was still $3.499 so I figured I might as well fill it even though it took less than half a tank.

2020 Mazda CX5 Grand Touring 2.5L N/A

Got back from a 3000 mile road trip. Round trip from STL to Boca Raton FL and all my adventures in FL.

Best highway cruising mileage: 32.2MPG as calculated by Fuelly -- this was the best ever recorded for my CX5. After a long stretch of state highways/roads that I didn't exceed 65mph on.

Overall highway cruising, even at 75mph netted an average of 28-31.x mpg. As a rule I generally put 89 in my CX5 or 93 at Costco. Did one tank of Reg 87 and saw my mileage suffer noticeably, 25.5Mpg somehow!

3k of high MPG miles brought the rolling lifetime average for my CX5 up to 25mpg for my overall tracking in Fuelly.

Currently at just under a bit under 60k total miles on my CX5.
