I had a different dashcam before with wires hanging out and my wife ripped it off when she snagged the wire and damaged the connection.

This time I did it properly with wires hidden behind the liner.

The rear camera, I routed the wire through the wiring harness rubber grommet, it came out pretty clean looking.

Mine looks exactly like yours. I hate cords dangling from the cam to the power source. On a side note, in Korea, I see Hyundai and Kia's come with factory built in dash cams.

The new 2024 Mustangs come with a USB power port on the front of the inside rearview mirror for dashcams or radar detectors.
