Post your current MPG

:) Volt 98 mpge, Outlander 74 mpge. Volt lifetime mpg is 115. First year and half I owned it I barely charged it(lived in appartments with no garage options). It was a lease return when I got it, and it had like 45 lifetime mpg, somone used it as usual hybrid. I sometimes did not have fill it up in 2k miles (not going outside of city). On long vacation trips it gets about 37 mpg going 75+ on TX hwys with ac blasting. Outlander hard to tell yet, just got it 2 week ago. So far tested it on longish drive (70 miles) is slower traffic on i35 and then blast back 80+ on 130 toll road and it ended up with 37mpg. Not bad for awd crossover chugging 80+ for half of that trip

I've driven the new-to-me Mini Cooper S now long enough to know what gas mileage to expect. Mid to upper 35-40mpg at freeway speeds, 22-25 mpg in the city. With the hammer down she's way more thirsty. After 2,200 miles, the oil level is one hole down on the dipstick. There's a total of 9 holes from min to.max. I was expecting worse.

The big hunker in the sig:
14.5 avg on 89
17.9 best
On the highway I average around 15-19mpg depending on speed.
City? 8…9…lol
Loaded with small trailer? Knock 2-3 mpgs off those numbers.
Just installed a tonneau cover. Probably will do jack but it’ll keep other peoples trash from ending up back there.

To note: I didn’t buy this truck for fuel economy. I bought this truck because I wanted to go fast and also haul and not have to worry about turbos, cylinder deactivation, rpm/redline nonexistence, etc

basically I wanted a truck as close to being what trucks were for decades prior.
So far, that’s what I’ve gotten. A fun and enjoyable truck that can do what it’s meant to do without hesitation, this truck feels all around better than the 2018 Ram 5.7 I had prior to it.

Returning home from RENO LOL :geek:

I was making it in the fiance nissan sentra and was getting 45Mpg hand calculated.

When I actually drove my '03 Civic for extended highway trips, I'd get about 38 mpg. Over the years, I have 12 tanks of >40 mpg and a best tank of 42.9 mpg. Nowadays, I only drive 5 miles or less per trip and average about 120 miles a week. Just filled up with 11.497 gal and drove 349.3 miles, for a 30.4 mpg average. I typically fill up once every 3-4 weeks, depending on miles.
