2018 Avalon XLE 22.6 lifetime avg mpg mostly city/suburban driving
Best ever was 37 highway with a tailwind :)
Wow, sounds like you had a lot more fun driving your Avalon than me! Mostly highway miles for me...usually set the cruise between 68-71 mph. And I swear I'd be averaging in the low 30's if not for spending 5 months out of the year in cold weather (it always lowers my gas mileage).

OK, so 158 lifetime, still not bad.

My '03 Civic has en EPA rating of 32 city, 38 highway. It has seen the gamut of commute styles over its lifetime. For the first 7 years of its life, it saw about 80-90% highway commutes and averaged 37 mpg over that time. When we moved from the big city to a small town, my commutes became 80-90% short trips and it started averaging around 30 mpg. It has had 13 tanks over its lifetime that were over 40 mpg, twice breaking 42 mpg. Its all time best tank was 42.9 mpg (453.6 miles on 10.577 gallons). All time worst was 23.3. That tank was 100% 5 mile or less trips, with some spirited driving thrown in.

Not great but not horrible , 2004 4x4 2.7l 4cylb5 speed. I’ve had the truck 2 years now. I live in Wv though so the mountains kill the mpg some and idling for warmups in the winter.

I just go by the dash calculator, my average is usually about 7.6-7.8L/100km; or right at about 30mpg. My car does all-highway driving for my commute to work, very little idling or city driving.
