New best MPG in my Corvette, I went on a highway trip today and on the 2 hour return trip home with the cruise set to 65 mph I managed 32.8 MPG!

2014 Mazda 6

Current: 29.1 MPG

My Fuelly average with 5000 miles tracked is 29.4MPG. This is 0 hwy and all suburban roads + stop and go.

My best long hwy trip (160 miles) was 41MPG.

the last ten tanks of the Tacoma have averaged 23.5 MPG

The last ten tanks on the BMW have averaged 46.7 MPG, Yes, it's a motorcycle

Just got back from a 1,200mile trip in the 4.6L V8 Tundra, NH to DC. Family+popup camper, small one, guessing around 2,000lb of people+trailer+stuff, at most above and beyond the 5,400lb curb weight of the truck (so maybe GCWR of 7,500lb). Got about 18mpg going down as I needed to make time (65mph average I'd say), almost 20 coming back as I drove for mpg (stuck to 60mph on highway and 50 off)--and a pathetic sub-16 in some suburban driving (sans trailer) going from campground to the Metro. 18.5mpg overall. Last couple of tanks prior to our trip had been 20.7mpg.

The Jetta hit 53mpg on the last couple of tanks. The last tank yielded 900.1miles, it had to have been on fumes when I pulled in.

Well in the few days since I changed over to M1 5w-20 I've lost 3 mpg on my consistent highway commute.
And I was trying out the cel code display on the dash and I had a code up.
It was for incorrect oil viscosity if you can believe that.
And I lost mileage as well. It's odd to be honest, that right after I change the oil I get an oil too thick cel and lost mpg.
I find it hard to believe that the oil in the jugs weren't labelled properly however after what Mobil did after Katrina I certainly wouldn't rule out that possibility.
The only other possibility is that the oil that was already in the car at purchase time thinner than the M1 I'm using now.
Dunno.

First tank we measured on the wife's ST7, 61 mpg
