41.5 MPG on the last tank. FP and a bit slower driving are proving to be a winning combination.

My mom is barely getting 22-23 on the same car, but with Auto. This is less than it was getting during the winter. Any ideas?

Either something is really amiss, such a spark plugs, air filter, emergency brake on, brake calipers not releasing completely, riding the brake pedal, OR, your mother is racing at night, OR, the method to determine MPG is incorrect, OR, she's not at cruising speed for the tankful. Probably some more OR's I didn't list.

The ethanol they added to the fuel could reduce fuel economy a bit. You could probably check the oxygen sensor to see if it still good.

FWIW, here's how I get my best mileage (05 Camry I4 5A):
- use gas with no ethanol, luckily I have a local station.
- tires to 34 psi all round (Michelin Pilot Exalto A/S)
- I seem to get best mileage around 75 mph... can't explain that!
Many times I've achieved 33+ mpg driving from Milwaukee, WI to Cleveand, Ohio in the summer at 75 mph with AC and cruise control on! Of course, I plan my trip to miss heavy Chicago traffic.
I also should add that I run Havoline 5W-30 and have ARXed my car twice. Currently 118,000 miles!

I just got 23.15 mpg, mainly highway through the White Mountains carrying an extra 350 lbs., after changing to Castrol GTX 5w-20. That is way better than before. I just finished my second ARX rinse though, and so mileage may even improve.
Edit: Oh yeah. That's a 1995 Caravan SE with a Mitsu 3.0 V6, with approx. 124K miles.

Hmm, 31.3mpg in the Accord going 80mph, not bad. Summer gas kicking-in.
i get 26 to 27 on our VW Jetta, my girlfriend drives it to work, never goes over 40, and there is a stop light every four to six blocks, true city driving

Tanked up again this morning. It was $3.259 at a little independent station on my way to work, totalling $43.03. 290.7 miles/13.2 gal. = 22 mpg average.
In contrast, the 4-cyl. 1997 Benz never got much over 23 on the average. If I still had it, and turned up with about 23.4, let's say, over the same distance I'd have burned 12.37 gallons. At 3.519/gallon (same station), I'd have paid . . . $43.53.

33mpg with my last few tanks-Camry 2.2L/automatic. Have been speeding more then normal. Not enough hours in the day and way too many spent commuting.
Even with gas climbing, the highways haven't slowed down a bit, most vehicles have only the driver, regularly see low tire pressures, and why does everyone speed up for the redlight or stop sign? Hyprocritical fools are the biggest wasters and complainers.
